คำสั่งเพื่อติดตั้งซอร์ฟแวร์ต่างๆ

sudo apt-get install

เช่น sudo apt-get install audacity

คำสั่งเพื่อถอดถอนซอร์ฟแวร์ต่างๆ

sudo apt-get autoremove

เช่น sudo apt-get autoremove audacity

เพิ่มเติม ในลีนุกซ์ Debian ไม่ต้องใช้ sudo นำหน้า ใช้ su แค่ครั้งแรกเท่านั้น เช่น

su

apt-get install audacity

]]> ในการปรับเปลี่ยนตั้งค่า Grub สำหรับ Ubuntu นั้นสำหรับผู้ที่ใช้ Ubuntu มานาน

สามารถไปเปลี่ยนได้ที่ /boot/grub/grub.cfg ซึ่งนับตั้งแต่ Ubuntu 9.10 ซึ่งเป็น Grub เวอร์ชั่น 2

การตั้งค่า Grub ทำการเปลี่ยนแปลงได้จากไฟล์นี้ ซึ่งหากเป็น Ubuntu ที่เวอร์ชั่นเก่ากว่านี้

สามารถไปตั้งค่าได้ที่ /boot/grub/menu.lst

ส่วนลีนุกซ์อื่นๆนอกจากนี้ บางดิสทริบิวชั่น ก็จะไปตั้งค่าได้ที่ /boot/grub/grub.conf

แต่วันนี้จะนำเสนอโปรแกรมง่ายๆที่ใช้ตั้งค่า Grub แบบกราฟฟิกให้กับ Ubuntu (ผมไม่แน่ใจว่าลีนุกซ์อื่นๆมีไหม)

โปรแกรมดังกล่าว คือ StartUp-Manager

สามารถหาติดตั้งได้ที่ เมนู โปรแกรม>Ubuntu Software Center

เมื่อติดตั้งเสร็จแล้ว ตัวโปรแกรมสามารถเรียกใช้ได้จาก เมนู ระบบ>ดูแลระบบ>StatUp-Manager

StartUp-Manager for Ubuntu

วิธีใช้ก็ไม่ยากครับ

ช่อง Time Out in Seconds คือ ใส่ตัวเลขวินาทีที่ให้รอก่อนบูตเข้าระบบ

ช่อง Default operating system คือ เลือกระบบปฏิบัติการที่ต้องการให้เข้าระบบอัตโนมัติหลังจากที่เปิดเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์

ที่สำคัญและจำเป็นที่ควรรู้ก็มีแค่นี้ล่ะครับ ส่วนตัวเลือกอื่นๆไปลองเล่นกันเอาเอง ผมยังไม่ได้เล่นมากนัก

Google Chrome on Ubuntu

เข้าโปรแกรม Terminal แล้วทำการเพิ่มเติมแหล่งดาวน์โหลดใหม่ ด้วยคำสั่ง

echo "deb http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/ stable main non-free" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list

ดาวน์โหลดกุญแจอนุญาตเพื่อยืนยันความสมบูรณ์ในการติดตั้งโปรแกรม ด้วยคำสั่ง

wget -q https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub -O- | sudo apt-key add - && sudo apt-get update

ติดตั้งแพกเกจ Google Chrome ด้วยคำสั่ง

sudo apt-get install google-chrome-unstable

    ]]>     ติดตั้ง Google Earth ใน Ubuntu ที่ผมทำนี้ติดตั้งลงใน ubuntu 9.10 นะครับ เวอร์ชั่นอื่นๆยังไม่ได้ลอง

    Google Earth on Ubuntu

    เริ่มแรกต้องเพิ่ม Repository ของ Medibuntu ก่อนครับ
    เปิด Terminal แล้วพิมพ์
    sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/$(lsb_release -cs).list --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list && sudo apt-get -q update && sudo apt-get --yes -q --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get -q update

    จากนั้นก็จะติดตั้ง Google Earth ต่อไป
    โดยใช้คำสั่งดังนี้ใน Terminal
    sudo apt-get install googleearth

    แค่นี้ก็เสร็จแล้วครับ

    เท่าที่ผมใช้ เห็นว่าระบบภาษาไทยของ Google Earth ใน Ubuntu ถือว่าดีมากๆทีเดียวน่าใช้มากครับ

    # cat /etc/debian_version
    ได้คำตอบออกมา คือ
    # 5.0.3
    ซึ่งแสดงว่า Debian เวอร์ชั่นที่ใช้งาน คือ 5.0.3

    คำสั่งเพื่อตรวจเวอร์ชั่น Kernel
    # uname -r
    ได้คำตอบออกมา คือ
    # 2.6.26-2-686
    แสดงว่าเราใช้ Kernel เวอร์ชั่น 2.6.26-2-686
    หรือถ้าอยากรู้มากกว่านั้นให้สั่ง
    # uname -a
    ตัวอย่างคำตอบที่ได้ คือ

    ]]>     วิธีติดตั้งฟอนต์ไทยสำหรับ CentOS 5.4

    CentOS 5.4


    ดาวน์โหลดฟอนต์ไทยมาก่อน

    # wget ftp://linux.thai.net/pub/ThaiLinux/software/thai-ttf/thai-ttf-0.4.13.tar.gz

    แตกไฟล์ออกก่อน

    # tar xvfz thai-ttf-0.4.13.tar.gz

    เข้าไปที่โฟลเดอร์

    # cd thai-ttf-0.4.13

    ล็อคอินเป็นแอดมินก่อน

    # su (แล้วใส่รหัสผ่าน)

    สร้างโฟลเดอร์สำหรับเก็บฟอนต์

    # mkdir /usr/share/fonts/thai-ttf

    คัดลอกฟอนต์ไทยทั้งหมดไปเก็บไว้ที่โฟลเดอร์ใหม่

    # cp *.* /usr/share/fonts/thai-ttf/

    เพิ่มเติ่มบางที่เขาแนะนำให้ทำ เพื่อให้โปรแกรมต่างๆเรียกใช้งานฟอนต์ได้(แต่ผมทำแล้วไม่ได้ แต่จากคำสั่งบางบน ก็เพียงพอแล้ว)

    # chkfontpath -add /usr/share/fonts/thai-ttf

    หรือ

    # chkfontpath -a /usr/share/fonts/thai-ttf

    และตามด้วยทำสั่ง

    # chkfontpath -l

    เสร็จจากคำสั่งทั้งหมดแล้ว ก็สั่งรีบูตระบบเพื่อเริ่มใหม่

    # reboot

    หรือ

    # shutdown -r now
